Kei Kars in the Park 2008!

Last weekend was the annual meet for silly small japanese cars held at Kingsbury Water Park in Sutton Coalfield.
There was a great turn out again, with a big variety of cars - beats, cappos, copens, mira avanzato and 2.. yes 2 mazda AZ-1's! gah.. now I want an AZ-1 even more now... :P
Emily did a fantastic job as usual with the organisation and the weather turned out perfect!
Here's a couple of pics from the event:

Mr Beat-chan was sporting his fresh new wheels and made 180mile-ish trip there and back in fine form.. until he decided to eat one of his gearbox bearings when we reached sheffield!

Some quick hunting revealed a recently reconditioned box in north wales at a very reasonable price... so rather than start pulling my box to pieces and then having to source parts, dave and I set off at 7am on saturday to pick it up. Whether this new box will be a permanent fixture or just a temporary one while we rebuild mine is yet to be decided.
Many thanks to Mat for helping us out - hopefully the new box will be in very soon and Beat-chan will be back to full fitness!
