more progress... finally!
We finally managed to make a bit more progress with the engine today. Dave cleaned up the pistons and then fitted the new piston rings while i helped with what i could - mostly grinding in the valves/seats and cleaning up gasket surfaces.

Did it change, although the piston was also new?

the pistons are original, only new rings. the pistons cleaned up very well! :)
